The nib Hunter Festival of Sport has expanded this year to include a number of activities outside the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas.  This year there will be activities taking place in Maitland, Cessnock and Taree. 

Hunter Valley Grammar School will be a hive of activity with Netball, Soccer, Tennis, Rugby Union and Multi Sport activities taking place on various days throughout the 2 week Festival.

Other activities taking place in the Maitland area include the nib Netball Games which take place at the Maitland Federation Centre.

Activities based in the Cessnock area include Rifle Shooting, Disabled Swimming event, Soccer Clinic, Gymnastics, Advanced Tumbling & Indoor Rock Climbing.

Activities based in the Taree area include a Come and Try Cycling and Basic Coaching.  Kids are encouraged to come and ride around the circuit. Basic skills session available. Race cycles will be on display and information can be obtained on cycling memberships.
